Location: Remote, UK
Salary: £14 – £20 per hour (£27,300 – £39,000 per annum equivalent, based on a 37.5-hour week)

About the Role
Vita CV is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a UK business investing in organic search performance. We are looking to appoint an SEO Executive on a full-time, fully remote basis. This is suited to candidates with prior SEO experience who can take ownership of day-to-day optimisation activity.
Role Overview
The SEO Executive will manage core SEO activities including keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical audits, link building, and performance reporting, contributing to sustained organic growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to inform content priorities
• Implement on-page SEO improvements across web pages and content
• Carry out routine technical SEO audits and flag fixes for development
• Support link-building activity and outreach where appropriate
• Monitor organic performance and prepare regular SEO reports
• Collaborate with content and design teams on optimised assets
• Stay current with search engine updates and best practice guidelines
Candidate Requirements
• 1–2+ years of experience in an SEO or digital marketing role
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO fundamentals
• Comfortable using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools
• Good written communication skills in English
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actions
• Self-motivated and reliable in a fully remote environment
• A stable home internet connection and a quiet workspace
Desirable Experience
• Experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar SEO tools
• Exposure to content-led SEO strategies or e-commerce SEO
