Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Accounts Administrator to join our Service / Aftersales Department based in Worcester. This position plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of the Service Accounts team, ensuring accurate billing and excellent customer service across both business and consumer accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Debt Control:
Contact customers to request and process payments in a professional and efficient manner.
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of payment activity and communications.
Job Report Checking and Billing Creation:
Review service job reports for accuracy and completeness prior to invoicing.
Create and issue customer invoices in line with company policies and contractual agreements.
Investigate and resolve billing queries promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Additional Duties:
Respond to customer financial queries via phone and email in a professional and courteous manner.
Process refunds, generate statements, and assist with contract account creation.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the Service Accounts team.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
Positive outlook with a proactive “can-do” attitude.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial and administrative tasks.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Good standard of English and numeracy skills.
Preferred:
Financial or accountancy experience is ideal but not essential.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Contract Type: 6-Month Fixed Term Contract (Potential for Extension)
 Working Hours: 40 hours per week – 7:00am to 4:00pm or 8:00am to 5:00pm
 Hourly Rate: £13.99 per hour
 Start Date: As soon as possible
