Job Description

We are currently recruiting an experienced Service Advisor on behalf of our client, a reputable independent car centre situated near Slough. This is an excellent Service Advisor opportunity for a skilled automotive professional seeking stability and career development within a well-established, customer-focused environment. The ideal individual will possess strong customer service skills, with experience in automotive aftersales and dealership operations.

Competitive basic salary up to £34,000 plus performance-related bonuses, with potential total earnings of approximately £40,000
Monday to Friday working hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm, with no requirement to work weekends
On-site parking for staff convenience
Generous holiday entitlement of 20 days plus bank holidays, plus Christmas closure

Regular training programmes to develop industry knowledge and skillsDuties of a Service Advisor:

Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, delivering a professional and friendly impression
Book and schedule service and repair appointments efficiently
Provide accurate estimates and clear explanations of work required to build trust
Maintain detailed digital service records with relevant customer and vehicle information
Foster strong customer relationships to promote repeat business
Upsell dealership services and additional products where appropriate
Support team members with additional duties as necessaryRequirements of a Service Advisor:

Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar service reception role within an automotive dealership or repair environment
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Good digital literacy; familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) preferred
Professional and customer-oriented attitude
