Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join a reputable automotive dealership in Winchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor to work within a modern, well-equipped workshop and showroom, delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of the dealership’s aftersales department.

Duties:
  * Greet customers at vehicle drop-off and collection points, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere
  * Accurately record customer service requirements and communicate effectively with the workshop team
  * Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle repairs or servicing
  * Provide transparent updates and explanations regarding work undertaken
  * Cost additional repairs or work recommended by technicians and gain customer approval before proceeding
  * Prepare and present accurate invoices, including recommended service plans and warranties
  * Upsell service products, warranties, and maintenance packages to maximise customer satisfaction and dealership profitability
Requirements:
  * Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the motor trade industry
  * Excellent communication and customer service skills
  * Confident in upselling and suggesting additional products
  * IT literate, preferably with familiarity with systems such as CDK Drive or Kerridge
  * Well-organised with strong time-management skills as the Service Advisor
  * Full UK driving license, ideally with a clean record
  * Customer-focused attitude with a professional manner
  * Previous experience within franchised dealerships is preferred
