Service Advisor – Main Dealership
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Salary: £28,000 Basic, Uncapped OTE £35,000+

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our main dealership in Bury St Edmunds. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor to work in a supportive environment and assist customers with their aftersales needs.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Service Advisor, provide exceptional customer service and support for aftersales inquiries
The Service Advisor will schedule service appointments and manage the workshop diary efficiently
Communicate effectively with customers about service options, costs, and vehicle updates – a vital Service Advisor responsibility
Assist in resolving customer concerns and ensuring complete satisfaction as a proactive Service Advisor
Work closely with technicians and management to deliver a seamless experience – a daily task for the Service Advisor
A successful Service Advisor will build lasting relationships with customers and ensure repeat business
Keep accurate service records and documentation – a crucial part of the Service Advisor role
The Service Advisor will ensure all bookings are handled promptly and professionally
Offer additional products or services when appropriate, as expected of a sales-aware Service Advisor
The Service Advisor will be expected to meet individual and team performance targets
Stay up to date with manufacturer updates, systems, and processes – essential for any modern Service Advisor
The Service Advisor will contribute to ongoing process improvements within the department
Maintain the dealership’s high standards as a front-facing Service Advisor
Participate in regular training and development sessions to grow as a skilled Service Advisor
Support colleagues and provide cover where needed as a team-oriented Service AdvisorRequirements:
Previous experience in an aftersales or customer service role within the automotive industry, ideally as a Service Advisor
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
A passion for delivering excellent customer service as a dedicated Service AdvisorWorking Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
