Service Advisor – Motor Trade
Location: Stoke-on-Trent (Longton)
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum basic (depending on experience)
We are recruiting on behalf of BVR Automotive, an independent VW, Audi, SEAT and Skoda specialist based in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. They are seeking a Service Advisor to join their front-of-house team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Service Advisor with strong customer service skills looking to build a career in the motor trade.
What’s on Offer
Base salary: up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) for the right Service Advisor
Base hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 5:30pm (41.25 hours per week)
Overtime: paid above 40 hours at 1.5x hourly rate
Training provided to support your development as a Service Advisor
33 days paid holiday per year (including bank holidays and Christmas period shutdown)
Excellent on-site staff facilities for all employees, including the Service Advisor team
A supportive and professional team with over 70 years of combined VW Group experience
Opportunity to work within a company built on honesty, quality, and value where the Service Advisor plays a key roleKey Responsibilities As a Service Advisor, you will:
Greet customers and manage communications and expectations
Liaise with workshop technicians, suppliers, and customers
Handle enquiries by phone, email, and in person as the main Service Advisor point of contact
Use various software packages to prepare estimates and jobcards
Provide clear updates to customers, ensuring the Service Advisor role delivers excellent customer satisfactionRequirements
Experience with Garage Hive garage management software would be an advantage for a Service Advisor, but not essential
Motor trade background beneficial for a Service Advisor, though not required
Strong communication and organisational skills combined with the ability to multitask are essential for a successful Service Advisor
