They are seeking an experienced Service Centre Machinist to join their established team at their Coleford site. This is an excellent opportunity for a machinist who takes pride in their craft, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to advance their career with a respected and forward-thinking employer.
The Role
You will be responsible for the machining, repair, and refurbishment of high-quality components used in critical applications. The role is varied and requires accuracy, technical knowledge, and adaptability.
Key responsibilities include:
Operating manual and CNC machines, including lathes, milling machines, vertical borers, and slotting machines.
Machining components such as shafts, impellers, casings, and housings.
Working to engineering drawings and precise tolerances.
Balancing impellers and repairing worn components.
Supporting workshop fitting and occasional site-based activities.
Maintaining safe, clean, and efficient workshop practices.

Great working hours:
Mon-Thurs: 07:45 - 16:00
Fri: 07:45 - 15:15
Overtime available.
