Job Description

Service Charge Analyst Location: Grosvenor House, 125 High Street, Croydon, CR0 9XP Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 2+ Months Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week Pay Rate: £ 21.92 per hour  Job Ref: OR10460 Responsibilities Accurately calculate, construct, and issue all estimated and actualized service charges, ensuring compliance with legal deadlines, contractual agreements, policies, and procedures, with a focus on complex cases. Deliver a customer-centric, expert service for service charge payers, directly resolving complex customer queries and collaborating with internal colleagues to address complaints, disputes, and dissatisfaction. Prepare service charge information and supporting evidence for First Tier Tribunal and attend if required. Identify and act on areas for improvement in the calculation of service charges and the provision of information to residents. Share knowledge and work collaboratively with the team to enhance resilience across service charge setting activities. Person Specification Experienced in service charge analysis, with a strong understanding of residential and commercial service charge management, including current legislative requirements and sector best practices. Strong organizational skills, capable of managing and delivering a range of tasks to meet deadlines. Experience in working with councillors, the wider community, and other external partners. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Strong financial and numerical skills. Exceptional customer service skills.
