We’re recruiting for a Service Charge Manager on behalf of a progressive service provider that understands the real value of getting the detail right. We’re not just after someone who can crunch the numbers.
We’re looking for someone who questions them. Someone who spots when the lift maintenance bill has crept up again and quietly, confidently gets to the bottom of it.
This business takes service charge management seriously. Because when it’s done properly, it’s not just about covering costs. It’s about structure. Transparency. Intelligence. And yes, it can be very lucrative for the client, for the company, and for you.
This isn’t a clipboard-and-spreadsheet job. It’s commercial property with depth, and the role comes with real influence. You’ll be reading leases like they’re novels (some more thrilling than others), spotting anomalies, and making real improvements to how things run.
There’s a seat at the table waiting and it’s not tokenistic. You’ll be trusted to own your area and shape the service.
What we’re looking for:
* A sharp eye for numbers, with a calm and methodical approach
* The ability to manage reconciliations with grace (and grit, when needed) maybe accounting (in part) qualifications supporting your knowledge.
* Confidence in Excel, and a good working knowledge of lease structures'
* Ideally, some experience with service charge management in commercial or residential property.
