The company is renowned for delivering a complete range of plant machinery and equipment hire services, we are now looking for a experienced Service Controller to continue the ongoing growth of our client.

Role Overview - Service Controller
As Service Controller, you will be the vital link between our customers, engineers, and hire desk. You'll be responsible for overseeing the coordination of plant machinery servicing, inspections, delivery schedules, and equipment availability. Your proactive approach will ensure our fleet remains fully operational, compliant, and delivered on time.
Your responsibilities as a Service Controller will include:
Coordinate the servicing, maintenance, and inspection schedule for plant equipment
Manage delivery and collection of machinery in line with customer bookings
Liaise with hire desk and workshop teams to ensure fleet readiness
Maintain accurate records of all equipment movements, defects, and servicing
Monitor hire periods and follow up on overdue returns
Ensure compliance with safety and legal inspection requirements
Support the preparation of hire documentation, including contracts and invoices
Handle customer queries regarding plant servicing, breakdowns, or availability
Other industries considered

Requirements
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Knowledge of plant equipment and service intervals is preferred but not desired
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Full UK Driving Licence required
