Our client is a globally leading pharmaceutical company, who are looking for a Service Demand Planning Associate to join their Burgess Hill-based team on a 3 month contract. This is a hybrid role, ideally working 2 days per week in the office.
The successful candidate will support the company to deliver capacity forecast and planning execution to deliver the business strategic goals, through short-term demand planning, mid and long term demand planning, and systems and platforms quality management.
Responsibilities
Utilise digital tools and systems to regularly monitor demand and supply of service activities, exceptions, and imbalances.
Takes necessary steps to prevent and/or correct anticipated supply/demand problems considering all alternatives and consequences of decisions.
Helps identify supply issues associated with established plans and resolve by collaborating with the cross functional stakeholders.
Support the weekly Demand-Supply balance meetings by providing insight to enable the specialist to build a supply overview to manage demand, execute build reviews and make allocation decisions (as needed).
Utilise available reports to monitor system data quality to ensure optimal process performance.
Adhere to process and working instructions for all service activities to ensure we have the best-in-class supply/demand management system in place.
Responsible for data entry accuracy and efficiency relating to all aspects of inventory management.
Responsible for developing communication and engagement within the organization.Requirements
A level educated or equivalent
Minimum 5 GCSEs or equivalent (English Language/English Literature, Mathematics A - C grades)
Previous experience in demand planning function desirable
Experience of working with a CRM System and making decisions based on data analysis
Proven track record of managing multiple requests and conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proven track record of managing internal/external stakeholders at all levels and effective communication in a pressurised environment
Previous experience of working in a technology led environment (ideally in healthcare)
Knowledge of UK and Irish territory (Geography)
Diligent, analytically minded, with high levels of attention to detail
The ability to communicate with a wide range of internal stakeholders cross functionally
An inquiring mind to follow-up inconsistencies and gaps in records
Capable of understanding and working within processes and protocols guideline
Ability to work independently or in a group setting with minimal supervision
Resilient and comfortable dealing with multiple enquiries from all levels in a fast-paced customer centric organisation
Ability to produce basic management information reports when necessary
Fluent English language, written and verbal
Job Title: Service Demand Planning Associate
Location: Hybrid based at Burgess hill - ideally 2 days in the office per week.
Salary: £15 - £17 PAYE basic excluding holiday pay or £19.89 - £22.55 UMB rate including holiday pay.
Full Time 6 month contract inside of IR35
