Role – Leading Chiller Manufacturer training a technical Air Conditioning Service Engineer to become a fully qualified Chiller Service Engineer
Benefits – Starting £38k - £42k base salary (goes up when you are a full Chiller Service Engineer), 5 days per week Mon - Fri, 40 hrs per week, NO WEEKEND OR SHIFT WORK, van or car, private healthcare, dental, high pension contribution, 27 days holidays + bank holidays, gym and social club incentive scheme.

Desired Experience – An HVAC Engineer with FGAS CAT 1 2079 or City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning that wants to progress their career by further technical training and onsite 1-1 coaching to become a specialised Chiller Service Engineer.
The Role
A leading Chiller Manufacturer is looking to take on technical and career focused Air Conditioning / HVAC Service Engineer and train them to become a specialised Chiller Service Engineer focused on large chilled water HVAC systems. You will receive industry leading manufacturer training and work alongside an experienced Chiller Service Engineer, conducting commercial planned preventive maintenance contracts, commissioning and warranty work on commercial Chiller Systems within commercial buildings, government buildings, multi residential and critical infrastructure, both air cooled and water cooled chillers.
Experience Required
You must be a technically competent HVAC Service Engineer, highly capable at fault find and fix on air conditioning systems, ideally large VRF / VRV refrigerated systems. CAT 1 2079 F-Gas is a minimum requirement and additional, hydrocarbons, commercial HVAC, refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications / certifications and manufacturer training would be an advantage. Any chiller experience would also be an advantage but it is not a requirement as long as you enjoy technical fault finding / troubleshooting and want to continue learning and training on larger more advanced HVAC systems focused on chilled water chillers and some commercial heat pumps that use heat recovery from chillers.

A leading chiller Manufacturer for commercial buildings and critical infrastructure that is adding to their technical chiller team due to winning both a number of large long term service contracts and new chiller installations requiring commissioning and warranty work. Their chillers are highly regarded within the industry, with an extensive portfolio that includes water cooled chillers, hydronics, close control, CRAC systems, CRAH systems and commercial heat pump systems to recover heat generated by the building cooling systems and reduce it’s carbon footprint. All their Chiller Engineers have progressed with the company through regular up to date training and 1-1 coaching on the latest most energy efficient and low carbon chiller systems.
The Package
Initial indications for this Service Engineer position are a starting base salary from £38,000 for to £42,000 until you are fully trained, developed significant chiller experience, are competent to work fully on your own, your base salary will increase significantly. Working hours 40 hrs per week, overtime a company van or a car will be provided (depending on your preference) along with pension, private healthcare and dental. Furthermore, up to 27 days holiday + bank holidays. No weekend or shift work.
