Service Engineer (Cleaning Machinery)
£37,000 - £39,000 * Permanent * Mon-Fri 7:30-16:00 * Leeds (workshop + local field) * 33 days' holiday
Are you a Service Engineer from an Industrial Machinery / Materials handling background or similar looking for a Stable, days-based work for a small family run business offering a great work / life balance and optional Over-time?
Why this Field Service Engineer (Cleaning Machinery) role:
Stable days (no shifts), local travel only
Mix of bench work and field calls (roughly half/half)
33 days' holiday and company pension
Overtime available at times
Ongoing product training to keep skills current
Role - what you'll do:
Service, maintain and repair floor-cleaning machinery (battery and mains)
Fault-find on AC/DC, single/three-phase, hydraulics and control systems
Handle c.20% work on pressure washers and high-pressure pumps
Complete installs/commissioning and accurate service documentation
Liaise with the office for parts, scheduling and customer updates
You'll need:
Hands-on experience on related kit: cleaning machines, MHE, agriculture, plant or similar
Confident with electrics/electronics, mechanical systems and hydraulics
Customer-focused with clean, safe working practices
Full UK driving licence and comfortable around the Leeds area
