Service Engineer – Intruder Alarms (with CCTV & Access Control)
Location: London & West of London | East London & Essex | Kent
Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 basic (DOE) + excellent earning potential + company van
About the Role
You’ll be joining an established, NSI Gold-approved security company, known for delivering reliable and high-quality systems across London and the South East.
This role is ideal for an experienced Service Engineer with a strong background in Intruder Alarms. You’ll take ownership of servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding a range of systems, ensuring your clients are always protected and compliant.
While your main focus will be on Intruder Alarms, experience with CCTV and Access Control systems would be a great advantage. You’ll work independently across commercial and residential sites, supported by a professional and experienced team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding Intruder Alarm systems (main focus)
Carrying out remedial and reactive works across customer sites
Supporting with CCTV and Access Control maintenance (secondary focus)
Providing excellent technical support and customer service
Ensuring compliance with NSI and manufacturer standards
Completing accurate service reports and documentation
Managing your workload efficiently and independently
What You’ll Need
Proven experience working on Intruder Alarm Systems (service, maintenance & fault-finding)
Experience with CCTV and Access Control systems (beneficial)
Good understanding of IP networking and remote access
Familiarity with DualCom and modern communication devices
Knowledge of NSI codes of practice and relevant standards
Full UK driving licence (manual)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently across London and the South East
