The Role
We are looking for an In-House Service Engineer to join an established after-sales service team based on-site in Didcot. This is a fully in-house position focused on the diagnosis, repair, and testing of electronic products returned from customers.
The role involves detailed fault-finding work, including board and component-level repair, within a workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair electronic products in an in-house workshop
* Fault-find down to board and component level
* Read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documentation
* Carry out functional testing and quality checks post-repair
* Accurately log faults, repairs, and parts used
* Work closely with the wider after-sales and technical teams
The Candidate
Background in electronics or electrical engineering
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability
Comfortable working to board and component level
Able to read and understand electronic schematics
Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential
Hands-on, methodical, and detail-oriented approach
The Package
Salary between £30,000 and £35,000 depending on skills and experience.
