We’re recruiting for a Field Service Engineer on behalf of a well-established and rapidly expanding international business known for delivering cutting-edge mechanical solutions into manufacturing and logistics environments. With customers ranging from SMEs to blue-chip giants, their systems are used to streamline production, boost efficiency, and support automation goals across the UK and beyond.
🔧 The Role
This is a mechanically focused role (approx. 95%), but you'll also need the ability to read and understand electrical schematics. You’ll be supporting the installation, servicing, and maintenance of modular systems such as flow racks, conveyors, and ergonomic workstations—designed for smart manufacturing and lean environments.

Field-based role covering sites across the UK, with Nottingham as your home hub

Service and maintain mechanical automation systems used in manufacturing and logistics
*
Occasionally assist in electrical diagnostics (basic understanding required)
*
Deliver outstanding customer support and build lasting client relationships
*
Collaborate with a supportive and experienced engineering team (avg. tenure 5+ years)

Solid mechanical engineering background (apprenticeship, NVQ, or similar)

Basic electrical knowledge – able to read wiring diagrams or schematics

Full UK driving licence

Flexibility to travel and work overtime as required (all paid at premium rates)
