Salary - £16-£18.50 per hour - £37,500k - £45k per annum + OT
Based in Sheffield / Manchester
A well-established, growing company operating nationwide - an opportunity for internal promotion for the right candidate.
We are looking for a highly experienced service engineer who has a vast knowledge of maintenance and reactive fault finding, working on refrigeration, and air conditioning systems, such as freezers, chillers, VRF/VRV and split systems for our blue-chip commercial clients such as NHS, Universities, hospitality, restaurant outlets, hotels, commercial offices, and leisure.
Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service Engineer Position Requirements
* Competent in Leading a team
* Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
* Experience in commercial installations (Splits, VRF Systems, Heat Pumps, AHUs etc.)
* Commissioning VRF, VRV and Split systems (preferable)
* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance on HVAC equipment for our clients
* NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration / Air Conditioning (preferable)
Required Qualifications / Experience:
* FGAS or Equivalent
* IPAF & PASMA Tickets (Desirable)
* Full Driver's Licence
* Valid CSCS card
The Ideal Candidate
* A highly experienced Refrigeration & Air conditioning engineer, with a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Refrigeration & Air conditioning, you will need to be F-Gas/EN 378 compliant
* A high level of interpersonal skills -good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write reports.
* High quality workmanship and pride in work is a MUST.
* You will be confident in your own ability
* You will be flexible to assist with call-out rota, and if required out of normal working hours service.
* You will be flexible and open to work on all types of mechanical systems where required.
* Strong problem-solving skills, you will have a "can do" attitude
* Ideally you will have good electrical competence including the ability to read wiring schematics and test control circuits
* Full Driving licence
