Job Description
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician required to join a global engineering manufacturer of packaging and automation machinery.
The ideal Service Engineer / Field Service Technician will be both electrically and mechanically competent with some knowledge of programming. You will be located in Oxford or within a one-hour commute to Oxford.
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician will carry out pre-planned service and maintenance on a wide range of packaging machinery including strapping machines, stretch packing machines and other mechanical and electrical equipment.

Remote with external travel to customer sites in the UKResponsibilities:
Carry out pre-planned service and maintenance on a wide range of packaging machinery including strapping machines, stretch packing machines and other associated electrical/mechanical equipment.
Conduct routine maintenance to minimise downtime and enhance machine performance.
Produce detailed service reports, documenting work completed, key findings, and recommendations.
Product training provided
Will ideally be based in Oxford or within a one-hour commute one-hour commute to Oxford.Requirements:
Experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Electrical Engineer, Service Technician or similar.
Field service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering equipment.
Full UK driving license.
A technical electrical/mechanical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, degree or similar would be advantageous.
