Multi-Skilled Service Engineer (Gas & Electrical)
Central Scotland (Mobile Role) | £45,000 – £50,000 + Overtime + Van + Expenses
Are you an experienced engineer with both gas and electrical skills? Ready for a varied role where no two days are the same? Join a specialist service company providing expert maintenance across Scotland’s Central Belt.
We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Service Engineer to maintain and repair industrial ovens, burners, and associated mechanical/electrical systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance for our clients. This is a permanent role with structured hours, strong earning potential, and full training support.
Engineers Benefits:
* £45,000 – £50,000 base salary (experience dependent).
* Overtime available to further boost earnings.
* Fully equipped company van + fuel card – no out-of-pocket travel costs.
* Structured hours: Mon–Thurs 07:45–16:30; Fri 07:45–12:45.
* Paid travel & expenses for field work and overnights.
* Training & upskilling (including electrical development if needed).
* Mobile role across Central Scotland
* Stable, long-term opportunity with a reputable specialist service provider.
Engineer’s Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and servicing on industrial ovens and burner systems.
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
* Resolve equipment malfunctions to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
* Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
* Accurately document service activities and maintain compliance records.
* Uphold all health & safety regulations and company procedures.
Engineer’s Requirements:
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
* Valid Passport (occasional travel).
* COCN1 Qualification (essential).
* Electrical background desirable – full training provided if you’re stronger on the gas side.
* Practical, hands-on problem-solver with good customer focus.
