Job Description
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer required to join a leading mechanical engineering supplier.
The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer will provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance of industrial and commercial water treatment equipment primarily on water and wastewater sites in Cumbria. Full product training provided.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer will ideally have a mechanical service background, working on water / waste water sites in mechanical engineering products such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, pipework, filtration, plant machinery and or similar mechanical engineering equipment.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Role
Provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance of industrial and commercial water treatment equipment primarily on water and wastewater sites in Cumbria. Full product training provided.
The Mechanical Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance at customer sites across Cumbria and surrounding areas. Full product training provided.
Installing pump systems, pipework, water tanks, water treatment and more into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various water treatment plants / sites.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Requirements
Mechanical service background in mechanical engineering products such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, pipework, filtration, plant machinery and or similar mechanical engineering equipment.
Experience working on industrial and commercial water treatment equipment primarily on water and wastewater sites in Cumbria. Full product training provided.
Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Hydraulic Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or similar.
The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
A technical engineering degree / qualification or apprentice trained, would be advantageous.
