The Role
As part of the Service Team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring clients’ systems are running safely, securely, and efficiently. You’ll cover sites across Essex, North Kent, and the wider South East, with occasional travel (once every 1-2 weeks) to the Basingstoke Head Office to collect stock and connect with the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Repairing faults on Warden Call, Social Alarms, and Door Access systems
* Carrying out technical surveys and annual servicing on systems and schemes
* Liaising directly with clients to resolve issues
* Working closely with the Service Manager and Head of Service to meet SLAs
* Accurately recording job details and completion notes
* Reporting operational problems promptly to management
* Communicating effectively with clients, coordinators, and internal teams
* Maintaining accurate admin records and compliance with health & safety procedures
* Taking care of your vehicle and stock to meet client demands
What We’re Looking For
* A clean UK driving licence
* Junior role: 6–12 months’ experience in a service/engineering role
* Experienced role: 3+ years’ proven experience in the field
* Background in electrical engineering, fire alarm maintenance, door access control, or security alarm systems
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* Flexible attitude to cover 1 in 4 on-call rota (with on-call bonus)
Prerequisites
* This role involves daily travel across the South of England, and driving forms a significant part of the job.
* To be eligible to drive a company vehicle, you must:
* Be aged 21 or over
* Have held a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months
* Have no more than 3 penalty points on your licence
Please note: all roles are subject to DBS/Security checks before or upon commencement of employment.

* Competitive salary: £27,000 - £40,000 DOE
