Job Description
My client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Procurement & Commissioning Service Lead for ASC on a Contract basis.
The role will ensure effective compliant arrangements for the commissioning/tendering and contracts management of Adult Social Care (ASC) services for the hosted Borough wide arrangement for BCES.
About the role:
Based in Greater London (Hybrid - flexible):
To oversee the development and delivery of the Procurement Strategy, and Social Value Policy for the Council
Develop, collate, and analyse procurement information across the organisation, presenting this in a concise, accessible and engaging way to a variety of audiences and using this to drive transformation and continuous service improvement for the council
Ensure effective working between the Council and the provider market to productively manage day to day commissioning activity within the ASC commissioning budget.
To secure individual packages of care across all client groups for both domiciliary and residential services, meeting the needs of individuals as identified in a Community Care Assessments.About you:
You will have the following experiences:
CIPS qualification.
Extensive Local Authority experience in procurement and commissioning
A deep understanding of ASC and relevant provider services.
Excellent leadership skills.What's on offer:
Salary: £500 per day, inside IR35*negotiable based on experience
