Service Manager – Learning Disabilities
Atrium Healthcare is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Service Manager to lead and develop a high-quality service for individuals with learning disabilities. This role combines hands-on leadership with a commitment to empowering people to live independent and fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a small-to-medium team and provide effective supervision and coaching
Ensure the service promotes independence, safety, and meaningful community engagement
Oversee operational responsibilities including rota planning, budgets, and practice standards
Maintain compliance with sector regulations and best practices
Observe staff practices across shifts to ensure consistency and quality
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
NVQ Level 3 or QCE Level 5 (or willingness to obtain)
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Understanding of safeguarding, DoLS, and positive risk-taking
Confidence managing budgets and supporting financial viability
