Position: Service Manager - Mental Health
Location: Chester, UK
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: £40,000 per annum + car allowance
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to oversee our Mental Health supported living services in Chester and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will have a level 4 qualification in care or above and a minimum of 3 years of management experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Mental Health supported living services
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and support is provided to service users
Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory standards and requirements
Lead and manage a team of support staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans where necessary
Build and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and external stakeholders
Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth running of the services
Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure a holistic approach to care and support is provided to service usersRequirements:
Level 4 qualification in care or above
Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a mental health care setting
Strong knowledge and understanding of mental health conditions and their impact on individuals
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Proven experience in managing budgets and resources
Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions
A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting service users
