Buttons Recruitment are recruiting a Service Manager – for a Supported Accommodation (16+) Site based in Norwich, Norfolk
Location: Norwich (with a dash of flexibility across service sites)
Salary: £38,000 – £44,000 (experience = £££)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week + occasional evenings/weekends (we call it “being awesome on-call”)
Reports to: The Director / Nominated Individual

Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It)
Lead the charge in delivering top-tier supported accommodation for young people. You’ll be the Registered Service Manager with Ofsted, steering the ship through regulations, inspections, and everyday brilliance. Your leadership will shape a safe, nurturing environment where young people thrive.

Leadership & Team Magic
* Be the kind of Service Manager / Leader people want to follow.
* Recruit, train, and develop a dream team of support staff.
* Keep morale high, standards higher, and training up-to-date.
Regulations & Safeguarding
* Stay on top of the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023.
* Be our safeguarding superhero—robust, reliable, and ready.
* Prep like a pro for Ofsted registration and inspections.
Partnerships & People Skills
* Build solid relationships with local authorities, social workers, and external agencies.
* Represent Helpers Avenue like a boss in meetings and forums.
* Keep families and professionals in the loop—always.
Strategy & Growth
* Help grow and evolve the 16+ service.as the Registered Service Manager
* Keep an eye on the budget and the bigger picture.
Spot opportunities for improvement and run with them.
What You’ll Need to Bring
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership (or working towards it).
* 2+ years in a senior role within supported accommodation or youth services.
* Deep knowledge of regulations, safeguarding, and Ofsted standards.
* Proven leadership chops and a passion for making a difference.
* Communication skills that make people say, “Wow.”
Bonus Points If You Have…
* A degree in Social Care, Youth Work, or similar.
* Experience managing a 16+ service.
* Skills supporting young people with complex needs.
* A driving licence and access to a vehicle (for those cross-site adventures).
