Job Description

Location: London (generally remote, site visits will be required). Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Shift: Twilight Hours (Start time between 15:00–17:00; flexible end time, approx. midnight) + on-call as appropriate. About the Role Our client, a market-leading service provider in automotive technology purpose designed for the transportaion sector, is seeking an experienced Regional Service Manager to oversee operations across London. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, our client is focused on delivering exceptional service and maintaining long-term customer relationships. The Role The Regional Service Manager will be responsible for leading a team of field engineers and technicians, ensuring high standards of service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position is well-suited for someone from a field engineering background or similar technical role within the security, automotive, or electrical maintenance sectors. Key Responsibilities * Oversee daily operations and service delivery across the assigned region * Manage, mentor, and develop a team of field-based engineers/technicians * Monitor performance against KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives * Conduct site visits, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations * Handle client escalations and maintain strong working relationships * Report on regional service metrics and contribute to strategic planning * Optimise workforce scheduling and job allocation Required Skills & Experience * Proven experience in a service management or field engineering leadership role * Background in security systems, automotive services, electrical maintenance, or a related industry * Strong technical acumen and ability to support field operations * Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills * Ability to interpret technical documentation and enforce service standards * Full UK driving licence (or applicable regional equivalent) Desirable * Working knowledge of Timespace DVRs, Streamax, Robustel routers, or similar systems. * Knowledge of compliance and industry-specific regulations What Our Client Offers * Competitive salary and performance-related bonus * Company vehicle fully expensed for business use * Career development and training opportunities * A supportive, team-oriented environment * Pension scheme, private healthcare, and additional benefits * Autonomy - these guys won't micro manage you Interested in leading a high-performing service team for an industry leader?
