We are recruiting for a Service Supervisor to join a well established manufacturing company based in Coventry. This is a permanent role working Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm and Fridays 8am-2pm! Competitive salary is offer together with great benefits!
A dynamic and rewarding position awaits as a Service Supervisor, leading a dedicated service team and managing product servicing both in-house and on-site. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of maintenance agreements, scheduling site engineers, and providing first-line customer support.

Key Responsibilities as Service Supervisor:
- Oversee and manage all service operations on-site and in-house, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet service goals and objectives.
- Monitor and maintain site resources.
- Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
- Schedule and manage the calendar of on-site engineers, ensuring efficient working timetables.
- Ensure all paperwork and permits (e.g., risk assessments) are completed prior to site activity.
- Minimise delays in resolutions for any requests and work queues of on-site and site servicing.
- Liaise with colleagues, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure no delays and completion dates are met.
- Plan jobs to client specifications, ensuring all parts and equipment needed for all site activity.
- Implement and manage Maintenance Contracts.
- Support customers on breakdowns, repairs, and servicing requirements.
What is Required:
Proven experience as a Service Supervisor or similar role with minimum of 4 years’ experience in a service/repair setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Competent working with ERP/MRP software packages (Essential).
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook/Teams (Essential).
Experience of leading a team of site engineers (Essential).
Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service (Essential).
Project Management Skills (Desirable).
Contract Management (Desirable).
Experience with Jira and/or Confluence (Desirable).
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures (ATEX is desirable)
Full Driving License (Essential).
