Overview:
We are partnering with a pioneering green-hydrogen technology manufacturer to recruit an experienced Service Team Manager for their growing Aftersales organisation in Germany.
The company develops and produces advanced PEM electrolyzer systems, supporting industrial customers in drastically reducing CO₂ emissions and enabling a more sustainable energy future.
This role is ideal for an experienced service leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, coordinating field service operations, and driving process excellence in a technical environment.

Die Position:
Als Service Team Manager für Deutschland übernehmen Sie die Verantwortung für die Leitung des Aftersales-Service-Teams sowie für einen reibungslosen, sicheren und effizienten Ablauf aller Field-Service-Aktivitäten.
The Role:
As the Service Team Manager for Germany, you will take ownership of leading the Aftersales Service Team and ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient field service operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading, developing, and mentoring the German Aftersales Service Team
Workforce planning, deployment coordination, and resource management for field technicians
Ensuring effective processes, documentation, and compliance standards for technical service
Overseeing RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) activities at customer sites
Defining and maintaining SOPs, service standards, and documentation guidelines
Delivering technical training to internal teams and external stakeholders
Coordinating materials, tools, and spare parts for service missions
Organising travel, visas, and permits required for technician deployment
Regular collaboration with senior Aftersales leadership in the UK
Ihre Hauptaufgaben:
Leitung, Entwicklung und Coaching des deutschen Aftersales-Service-Teams
Workforce-Planung, Einsatzkoordination und Ressourcensteuerung für Servicetechniker
Sicherstellung wirksamer Prozesse, Dokumentation und Compliance-Standards im technischen Service
Überwachung von RAMS-Aktivitäten (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) bei Kunden vor Ort
Definition und Pflege von SOPs, Servicestandards und Dokumentationsrichtlinien
Durchführung technischer Schulungen für interne Teams und externe Partner
Koordination von Material, Werkzeugen und Ersatzteilen für Serviceeinsätze
Organisation von Reisen, Visa und Genehmigungen für den Techniker-Einsatz
Regelmäßige Zusammenarbeit mit der Aftersales-Führungsebene im Vereinigten Königreich
Your Profile:
We are looking for candidates who can combine strong leadership capabilities with solid technical understanding and field service experience. Ideally, you bring:
Bachelor’s degree or technical vocational training in engineering, energy technology, or similar
5+ years’ experience leading field service or technical service teams
5+ years’ experience in energy, oil & gas, industrial maintenance, or related heavy industry
Experience working with industrial customer environments (e.g., power plants, refineries)
Strong understanding of HSE, ATEX, and industrial maintenance standards
Hands-on experience with work permit systems, risk assessments, and international workforce deployment
Strong leadership presence and experience delivering technical training
Willingness to travel extensively across Germany and Europe
Fluency in German and English
Ihr Profil:

Ein abgeschlossenes technisches Studium oder eine technische Berufsausbildung (z. B. Ingenieurwesen, Energietechnik o. Ä.)
Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in der Führung von Field-Service- oder technischen Serviceteams
Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in Energie, Öl & Gas, industrieller Instandhaltung oder vergleichbarer Schwerindustrie
Erfahrung im Umgang mit industriellen Kundenumgebungen (z. B. Kraftwerke, Raffinerien)
Gutes Verständnis von HSE, ATEX und industriellen Instandhaltungsrichtlinien
Praxis in Genehmigungssystemen, Risikobewertungen und internationaler Technikerentsendung
Souveräne Führungspersönlichkeit und Erfahrung in der Durchführung technischer Schulungen
Hohes Maß an Reisebereitschaft innerhalb Deutschlands und Europas
Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
