Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Service Technician to join our team in Runcorn. We are a privately owned business supporting our loyal local customer base.
We carry our servicing, Mot's, repair work, clutches, wet belts water pumps etc etc.
We dont do engine rebuilds
We have a team of 3 technicians are pay everyone £36000. Due to expansion we are looking for an additional Service technician. Most improtantly we need a Team player. We hav eno ego's and dont need any. Come to work do the work have a laugh go home. No main dealer politcs. If you want a great working environment come see us
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm NO WEEKENDS
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive repair. As a Vehicle service Technician, you will be responsible for preparing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
What we need
Either a Experienced Level 3 technician with 2 years workshop experience
Or a time servced tech / mechanic with provable work history
Full Uk driving Licence
Own tools
Duties
* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
* Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools and power tools effectively.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed on each vehicle.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards throughout
* Work with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Skills
* Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand vehicle systems within
* Proficient in the use of hand tools for various automotive tasks.
* Experience with power tools is essential for efficient repairs and maintenance.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentBefore You Apply
