Service Technician – Solar, Wind & BESS Systems
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary: €45,000 – €55,000 + bonus structure
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Sector: Renewable Energy / Field Services
The Organisation:
Work with a world-renowned clean energy developer that has rolled out 26 GW of renewable infrastructure across Europe, North America, and APAC. With active investments in Ireland and new projects on the horizon, they’re expanding their field service team in Dublin.
What You’ll Do:
Support solar PV and BESS installations across Ireland with the occasional wind project. You’ll liaise with both Irish and European engineering teams and be the on-the-ground expert ensuring reliability and safety across assets.
Your Day-to-Day:
* Maintain PV and BESS sites around Dublin and surrounding counties
* Run diagnostics and rectify faults quickly
* Liaise with suppliers for spares and logistics
* Ensure quality of works and regulatory compliance
* Feed into operational reports and system upgrades
Candidate Profile:
* Recognised electrical qualification (Irish or EU equivalent)
* Prior field experience in renewables or related electrical sectors
* Valid Irish driving licence and access to transport
* Tech-savvy and able to use diagnostic platforms
* Fluent in English; other European languages a bonus
