This job as advertised on behalf of our client.
We are currently looking for a setting out engineer for a permanent position in Aberdeen.
Our client is a reputable civils and groundworks contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out of buildings, bolt sets, drainage, kerbs etc. using surveying equipment.
* Overseeing contract works on various projects
* Carrying out quality control and ensuring pre-pour checks are carried out accurately
* undertaking surveys where required.
* Creating survey drawings and as built drawings in AutoCAD
* Supervising staff where required.
* Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets and timescales
* Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff
* Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
* Providing technical advice
* Problem solving
* Ordering materials and plant when required
45 Hours a week.
Degree Qualified in civil/structural engineering, and experienced in using AutoCad is essential.
Extensive experience in setting out buildings and drainage and Supervisory Experience is advantageous.
