Site / Setting out engineer
£40-£45k + company vehicle + fuel card ( can be used for personal millage)
Additional earnings available if travelling more
Roaming role within the east midlands
5D are proud to be working with a leading civils contractor company who are heavily involved in a variety of large infrastructure projects such as HS2, over recent years this company has grown to one of the UK’s biggest leading principal contractors and have an enviable reputation for efficiency and excellence.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* At least one years’ experience in a similar role.
* Sites located on the M1 corridor
* Full UK driving license
What the role will involve:
* Establishing site control.
* Setting up GPS base stations on site.
* Topographical surveys using GPS instruments.
* Setting out varied, complex sites.
* Processing surveys.
* Quantifying stockpiles.
* Running earth work analysis.
* Checking machine control accuracy.
