Shifts: Full Time, Days – 7.30am till 4.30pm (Monday to Thursday) 7.30am till 12.30pm (Friday)
Generations People is currently recruiting for a Sewing Machinist to join our client based in the Chesterfield S40 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and exciting business with an excellent reputation in their field.
We are seeking an experienced Sewing Machinist to join our team in a manufacturing environment. We are looking for a hard-working individual who can offer flexibility and commitment. This highly motivated individual will need to display a professional approach to their work and have a genuine ‘can do’ attitude towards their responsibilities.
Our ideal candidate will be able to align with our clients core values of working as a team to deliver innovative, reliable, safe products and services and someone who will listen, solve problems and continually strive for improvement, in both their direct and in-direct areas of responsibility.
Key Duties for Sewing Machinist:
* Working within a plastics factory environment
* Operation of Industrial Sewing Machines
* Routine ‘housekeeping’ to maintain a clean and safe workplace.
* Application of health and safety guidelines
Essential Skills, Experience and Competences for Sewing Machinist:
* Experience working with Industrial sewing machines – Advantages
* Maintain high quality standards and output, including thorough checking of completed works
* Working in a production and/or manufacturing environment, as part of a team and to deadlines – Advantageous
