Sewing Machinist
£12.50 p/h + Monday - Friday + Early Friday Finish
Rearsby, Leicester
Are you a Machinist with experience in sewing, tailoring, or working with industrial sewing machines, looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with early finishes on Fridays?
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established UK manufacturer that produces high-quality seating solutions for commercial, industrial, and specialist vehicles. You'll be responsible for sewing and assembling materials to specification using industrial sewing machines including Lockstitch, Overlock, and Twin Needle. Experience working with leather is essential.
This role would suit a Machinist with a background in Sewing or Tailoring, looking to join a company that plays a vital role in its industry, with full specialist training on machinery and products.
The Role:
Operating industrial sewing machines (Lockstitch, Overlock, Twin Needle)
Sewing leather and fabric materials to exact specifications
Following detailed work orders and production schedules
Monday to Friday working hours with early finish on Fridays
The Person:
Experience operating industrial sewing machines
Previous experience working with leather
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications
Commutable to Rearsby, Leicester
