Role Overview
As the SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for leading the design, creation, and implementation of our SharePoint environment. This is a rare opportunity to shape a platform from the ground up, ensuring it is optimised to support current business needs while enabling scalability for the future.
You will work closely with stakeholders to define site architecture, configure permissions, develop workflows, and integrate SharePoint into our wider digital strategy. Post-implementation, you will drive enhancements, maintain system performance, and provide expert support to ensure the platform continues to meet the evolving needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement our SharePoint environment, including site architecture, navigation, libraries, lists, and permissions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional, user-friendly solutions.
*
Ensure the platform aligns with governance standards, compliance requirements, and ISO 19650 principles.
*
Configure security groups and permissions to maintain data integrity and controlled access.
*
Develop workflows, forms, and automation using Power Automate, Power Apps, and other Microsoft 365 tools.
*
Support content migration from existing systems, ensuring structure, accuracy, and consistency.
*
Customise SharePoint pages to improve usability, navigation, and engagement.
*
Provide post-implementation support and enhancements based on user feedback.
*
Maintain and optimise the platform for greater efficiency, collaboration, and process alignment.

Document configurations, processes, and updates to ensure continuity and governance compliance.

Work with the Systems Team to integrate SharePoint with other business applications.
Skills and Experience Required
Essential:

Proven experience designing, building, and deploying SharePoint Online environments from the ground up.
*
Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, features, and governance.
*
Experience creating and customising SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and pages.
*
Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
*
Knowledge of permissions management, security groups, and compliance in SharePoint.
*
Ability to translate non-technical requirements into effective technical solutions.
*
Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
*
High attention to detail and commitment to delivering user-ready solutions.
