SharePoint Migration Engineer (SharePoint, eDRM, Document Management, Metadata Mapping, Migration Tooling) – Tackle complex SharePoint migrations across healthcare, education, and housing sectors
A SharePoint Migration Engineer (SharePoint, eDRM, Document Management, Metadata Mapping, Migration Tooling) is required by a specialist consultancy delivering large-scale, high-impact migrations. South Coast location preferred, but remote working is available. This is a hands-on role focused on enterprise-scale eDRM and document management migrations.
You must have:
SharePoint implementation or migration experience, ideally in a consultancy or partner setting
Strong knowledge of SharePoint Team Sites, Document Libraries, and List View Thresholds
Experience with SharePoint migration tooling, metadata mapping, and building bespoke migration frameworks
Solid understanding of eDRM and document management principles
Confident engaging directly with clients and owning delivery from end to end
This is a delivery-focused role for SharePoint and Document Management migrations. You'll be trusted to take ownership, work independently, and solve real-world document management problems. The team meets quarterly, but day-to-day is flexible and remote.
Your day-to-day will include:
Configuring and testing custom migration tools. Working with internal IT teams and external stakeholders. Running test migrations and iterating with development. Building migration logic and frameworks. Executing large-scale document migrations (9TB+), with full responsibility for structure, integrity, and delivery.
