Position: Sheet Metal/Press Brake Operator
Based: Gloucestershire
Salary: £28,000+ (DOE) plus excellent employee benefits package
Working for an established manufacture of parts and products for a global market, supporting the needs of the MOD, Medical and Aerospace Sectors. Working in a modern, well-equipped manufacturing environment which offers excellent working conditions and plenty of self-development and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate press brake machinery safely and accurately to meet production targets.
* Bend and form sheet metal components to precise specifications.
* Work with a range of hand and machined inspection and measurement equipment
* Able to work from complex engineered customer specifications
* Support other fabrication processes as required.
* Ensure all work aligns with rigorous quality standards.
* Maintain a tidy, organised, and safety-conscious workspace.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Demonstrate expertise in setting and operating press brake machines.
* Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
* Eagerness to expand skills in new machinery, tooling, and software.
* Solid understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.
