Job Description
We are looking for experienced Supervisor with strong engineering background - ideally sheet metal experience.
Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00.
Pay £40K per annum. Straight perm position.
Responsibilities
* Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Operate hand tools and machinery to cut, grind, and shape metal materials.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
* Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
* Familiarity with tooling techniques related to sheet metal work is advantageous.
* Experience in grinding, welding, fabricating, and assembling metal components is essential.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentBefore You Apply
