Experienced Sheet Metal Worker - TIG Welder
Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire
We are looking for experienced sheet metal workers with strong TIG welding skills to join a growing engineering company that designs, manufactures, and installs bespoke conveyor systems, primarily for the food and beverage industry.
About the Company:
With over 20 years of experience, the company has built a strong reputation for producing high-quality, cost-effective equipment. Based in Halifax and serving clients across the UK and overseas, the business focuses on quality, reliability, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
TIG welding on high-quality sheet metal components
Working mainly from the clients Halifax base, with occasional travel to client sites
Maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment
Structural steel - Using Stainless Steel and Mild Steel
Read and understand engineering drawingsRequirements:
Proven experience in TIG welding and sheet metal work
Full, clean driving licenseEssential Experience & Skills:
* Minimum 2 years' experience working within a TIG Welding role
* Structural experience
* Excellent communication skills
Working Hours:
Mon-Thurs: 7:30am-4:00pm
Fri: 7:30am-12:30pm
Salary & Benefits:
£16.00per hour (reviewed following initial period)
Overtime rates
28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
