Job Description
Madisons Recruitment are currently working with a reputable HVAC Contractor of whom offer a variety of Mechanical Design & Installation services tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients across the Commercial, Industrial, Hospitality, and Residential sectors.
They are currently recruiting for a driven, experienced Sheet Metal Fabrication Workshop Manager to join their team on a permanent basis based in their workshop in Hertfordshire.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge and leadership skills who can manage workflow, quality control and a skilled fabrication team.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day workshop operations and staff
Plan workloads, delegate tasks, and ensure deadlines are met
Ensure all fabricated components meet industry standards and customer specifications
Lead by example in safety, quality, and efficiency
Maintain tools, equipment, and stock levels
Requirements:
Sheet metal fabrication experience (ideally in HVAC/ductwork)
Strong leadership and planning skills
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
