We are currently seeking a Sheltered Scheme Manager to join a supportive team in Dudley. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a retirement living setting. The role is offered on a part-time, 4-month contract basis, with the potential to be extended.
Key Responsibilities of a Sheltered Scheme Manager:
Oversee the daily operations of the scheme, ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and supportive environment for residents
Provide low-level support and housing-related advice to residents, promoting independence and wellbeing
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external services to maintain effective support networks
Coordinate and support community engagement activities and resident events
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal procedures
What We're Looking For in a Sheltered Scheme Manager:
Relevant experience in housing, care, or support services
Proven experience working as a Sheltered Scheme Manager or in a similar role within supported or retirement living
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with a compassionate and proactive approach
Good knowledge of safeguarding, tenancy management, and welfare benefits
Flexibility to work occasional unsociable hours and take part in an on-call rota if needed
