Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive SHEQ Administrator to join their team. This role will provide essential administrative support to the Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) function, ensuring that documentation, compliance, and reporting requirements are maintained to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities * Organise, update, and control SHEQ documentation (risk assessments, method statements, audits, policies, procedures, and certificates). * Maintain accurate records in line with company procedures and GDPR requirements. * Ensure version control and accessibility of all SHEQ documents. * Provide administrative support during audits, inspections, and investigations. * Prepare reports, presentations, and data summaries for stakeholders. * Maintain the SHEQ SharePoint document site and assist with electronic document management systems. * Track and manage records of training, inductions, and qualifications. * Support communication of toolbox talks, safety alerts, and policy updates. * Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on actions. * Assist with environmental monitoring (waste tracking, energy usage). * Support compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards and assist with audit preparation. Qualifications & Experience * 2+ years’ experience in document or records management (construction/engineering sector desirable). * Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Experience with document management systems (SharePoint experience desirable). * Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) preferred. * Awareness or experience of auditing is advantageous.
