SHEQ Lead Engineering Services Salary: Up to £60,000 Location: Alderley Park, Cheshire (UK-wide operations) Are you a seasoned SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) professional with a passion for driving excellence in engineering services? As part of their continued growth, the Operations Director is seeking a dynamic SHEQ Lead to join the senior leadership team. You'll be based at Alderley Park - one of the UK's most prestigious science and innovation campuses, offering state-of-the-art offices, beautiful parkland surroundings, and premium on-site facilities including cafes, gyms, and woodland walking trails. This is a key role focused on maintaining and enhancing accreditations, developing processes and procedures, and rolling these out across a rapidly expanding UK-wide group of businesses. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and build upon existing SHEQ accreditations. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all business activities, many of which are delivered remotely at customer sites. Lead the creation of a digital platform for SHEQ compliance across the group. Design, implement, and manage SHEQ programmes to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and industry best practices. Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards. Collaborate with project teams to embed SHEQ principles into engineering processes. Drive a culture of continuous improvement in safety, health, environment, and quality performance.About You: Proven experience in a SHEQ leadership role within the Engineering Services sector. Strong understanding of safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations and standards. Ideally qualified in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
