Job Description
SHEQ Frameworks Manager required for our client. This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced SHEQ Frameworks Manager professional to oversee and elevate safety, health, environmental, and quality performance across a broad portfolio of electrical infrastructure projects. You’ll be joining a forward-thinking organisation delivering essential infrastructure services within the energy and utilities sector.
Working within the distribution and connections division, this role covers multiple framework contracts with major electrical network operators, supporting planned works, customer connections, and network upgrades across the UK.

SHEQ Frameworks Manager Key Responsibilities
* Lead all SHEQ aspects across multiple high-profile contracts, ensuring full compliance with internal policies, client requirements, and current legislation.
* Develop and implement a robust Contract SHEQ Plan in alignment with organisational objectives.
* Build, mentor, and retain a capable SHEQ team, fostering continuous improvement and a positive safety culture.
* Monitor SHEQ performance, lead reporting processes, and present data and improvement strategies at leadership and client meetings.
* Act as a central figure in incident investigation, learning reviews, and the delivery of accreditation and regulatory requirements (e.g., NERS).
* Collaborate closely with central SHEQ resources and cross-functional teams to share best practices and drive innovation.
* Regular travel to project sites across the UK, including overnight stays as required.
SHEQ Frameworks Manager Candidate Requirements
Essential:
* Proven experience in a SHEQ leadership role within the utilities or construction sector
* Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and lead by example
* Capable of delivering training, briefings, and performance reviews with clarity and impact
Desirable:
* Experience working under DNO frameworks or within an Independent Connections Provider (ICP) environment
* Familiarity with NERS accreditation and electrical safety management
