Are you an experienced SHEQ professional passionate about ISO systems and continuous improvement? A rapidly expanding chemical manufacturer is seeking a SHEQ Systems Manager to lead the development, implementation, and optimisation of its Integrated Management System across three UK-based manufacturing sites.
Youโll be responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), ISO 45001 (Health & Safety), and ISO 50001 (Energy), driving full lifecycle certification across operations. This role offers a mix of strategic and hands-on responsibilities, with strong cross-functional influence, embedded in a culture that values quality, innovation, and compliance.

โข Lead the companyโs ISO-certified management system, overseeing internal/external audits and continual improvement.
โข Maintain audit-ready documentation, including SOPs, quality manuals, and KPIs.
โข Conduct risk assessments and manage non-conformances through root cause analysis and preventive action.
โข Liaise with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance.
โข Deliver training on ISO standards and mentor internal audit teams.
โข Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Production, and Sales to integrate SHEQ best practices into operations.

โข Proven experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment managing ISO 9001 systems.
โข Familiar with ISO 14001, 45001, and 50001 frameworks.
โข Qualified internal or lead auditor (ISO 9001 or similar).
โข Skilled in managing documentation and audit processes.
โข Effective communicator and coach, able to influence at all levels.
