This opportunity lies with a long-established UK manufacturer based in the Rugby area.
They operate in a fast-paced, high-volume process environment. Due to continued investment in engineering and processes, they’re looking to expand their team with an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer.
The Role:
As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a broad range of automated production machinery. This includes working on PLC-controlled equipment, Variable speed drives, process instrumentation three-phase systems, and process manufacturing lines. This is predominately an electrical role with occasional support to a separate mechanical team
Key Responsibilities:
* Electrical fault finding and repairs across production process machinery.
* Working with PLCs for fault diagnosis
* Executing planned maintenance in line with schedules
* Recording activity through CMMS
* Supporting CI and reliability projects
* Liaising with production teams to minimise downtime
* Ensuring all work is completed to Health & Safety standards
About You:
* Time-served Electrical Engineer (C&G Level 3, HNC, BTEC or equivalent)
* Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* PLC knowledge / Dives / Inverters essential
* Previous experience in a process manufacturing environment
* Able to work autonomously or as part of a team
* Comfortable working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days/nights)
Shift:
4 on 4 off shift . Rotates every 3 sets, nights to days. 12 hr shifts (7-7). Every 6 weeks you will have 16-day rest period.
