Shift Engineer – Mechanical or Electrical Bias
King’s Cross, London
£49,000 basic + £5,500 shift allowance = £54,500 total
4 on / 4 off – Continental (Days & Nights)
Join one of London’s most advanced and high-profile engineering operations. We’re hiring Shift Engineers (Mechanical or Electrical bias) to support a state-of-the-art facility in King’s Cross. This is your chance to work with cutting-edge systems in a high-performance, mission-critical environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical or electrical systems
*
Ensuring continuous operation and reliability of equipment in a 24/7 environment
*
Rapid fault finding and problem-solving to reduce downtime
*
Using CMMS to manage and log tasks efficiently
*
Collaborating with a skilled engineering team to deliver top-tier service
*
Maintaining compliance with all H&S and statutory standards

What We’re Looking For:

Recognised qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds, etc.)
*
Experience in a critical, commercial, or industrial building services environment
*
Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
*
Willingness to work a 4 on / 4 off continental shift pattern
