Electrical Maintenance Engineer
£40,000 + £3,500 Shift Allowance + Excellent Benefits
Northampton – Static Site
Continental Shift Pattern | 4 on 6 off | 4 nights on 4 off | 3 days on 3 nights on 4 off
£40,000 Basic + £3,500 Shift Allowance + Overtime (paid at 1.75x)

We’re recruiting for a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established engineering team based on a large, high-performing site in Northampton. This is a static, shift-based role offering excellent work-life balance and access to top-tier facilities and ongoing refurbishment projects.
Role Overview
*
Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules
*
Respond promptly to reactive maintenance tasks and help desk requests
*
Diagnose and repair faults across a range of electrical systems
*
Oversee and coordinate external contractors for specialist tasks
*
Ensure all systems remain compliant and operational through reporting and hands-on work
Key Requirements
*
Recognised Level 3 Electrical qualification (C&G 2230, 2330, 2356, 2357 or AM1/AM2)
*
Experience in facilities maintenance or building services
*
Technical understanding of:
*
Air/Water Source Heat Pumps
*
UPS systems, Generators, Power Distribution
*
Comfortable working independently or as part of a shift team
