Central London (Near Liverpool Street Station) | 🌐 Global FM Leader | 🔄 12-Hour Continental Shifts (Days & Nights)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Engineer (Multi-Skilled) to join a high-performing facilities management team at one of London’s most prestigious commercial buildings, just a short walk from Liverpool Street Station. Your Role:
*
Deliver both planned preventative and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance across a landmark commercial site
*
Maintain and troubleshoot systems including lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, small power, and UPS
*
Undertake mechanical works including pumps, valves, pipework, HVAC systems, fan coil units, and air handling units
*
Monitor and control building performance via the BMS (Building Management System)
*
Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults quickly and efficiently
*
Collaborate with fellow engineers and external contractors to ensure seamless building operation
*
Uphold strict compliance and safety standards at all times
What You’ll Need:
*
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installations and/or Mechanical Engineering
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential for electrical candidates)
*
F-Gas Certification or Plumbing/Mechanical qualification (desirable)
*
Solid experience working within commercial or critical environments
*
Proficiency in fault finding, testing, and repairs across both electrical and mechanical disciplines
*
A strong communicator with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach

Salary: £43,000 – £48,000

Shift Pattern: Continental shifts (4 on, 4 off – 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights)
