Alice Rose Recruitment is currently seeking a Shift Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical bias) to join a leading M&E engineering services provider at a prestigious mixed-use estate in St Paul’s.
The successful candidate will hold a recognised electrical or mechanical qualification, have a strong understanding of building services, and be L8 trained. You should also have proven experience delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across building services equipment.

Shift Engineer Key Responsibilities
* Deliver PPM and reactive maintenance across a wide range of building services equipment.
* Undertake fault finding, plant adjustments, inspections, and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems in line with contract specifications.
* Carry out multi-skilled tasks including, but not limited to:
* Re-lamping luminaires
* Fault finding on electrical wiring systems, motors, generators, lighting systems, chillers, and AHUs
* Cleaning and maintaining foul water systems and drains
* Inspecting and repairing M&E systems such as ductwork, plumbing, and heating systems
* Ensure all daily worksheets, maintenance logs, and inspection records are accurately completed and submitted on time.
Shift Engineer Requirements
* Electrical City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2, ‘A’ & ‘B’ or mechanical equivalent.
* L8 Trained.
* Demonstrated knowledge of statutory compliance in HVAC and Water Treatment.
* IOSH Working Safely (or equivalent Health & Safety qualification).
* Strong customer-facing skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Previous experience within building services engineeringBefore You Apply
